Pastor David Keaton

Pastor DAVID A. Keaton

Success is not the straight line of achieving one’s goals. It is the twisted road of pain, disappointment, and obsession with Jesus Christ that leads to achieving God’s will.”

Pastor David Keaton is the second son born to Dr. Joseph A. & Mrs. Mary Keaton in Roanoke, Virginia. Educated in the Roanoke County School System, Pastor Keaton went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree from Glenville State College in Glenville, West Virginia, and his Masters of Divinity degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia.

Pastor Keaton recognized his call to the gospel ministry at the age of seven, and (for instruction and wisdom) he stayed close to his father and maternal grandfather, both pastors. In 1991, Pastor Keaton preached his trial sermon, and has been actively and effectively preaching the gospel and shepherding God’s people ever since.

Along the way, his unique gifts of knowledge and understanding, and a boldness to speak truth to power, has broadened his audience from the local congregation.

In 2000, Pastor Keaton was an educator in the Pimlico Middle School in Baltimore, Maryland. From 2004-2006, he taught Christian Doctrine for Houghton College in the Adult Distance Program in Buffalo, New York. In 2013, Pastor Keaton was the guest commentator on CBS News during the arrival and visit of President Barack Obama in Buffalo, New York. From 2009-2014, Pastor Keaton hosted his local radio show “The Prophet’s Voice” on WUFO 1080AM Radio in Buffalo, New York that spoke to the educational, political, economic, and religious life of Buffalonians.

Presently, Pastor Keaton is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Kingdom Life Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Kingdom Life is one of the Twin Cities’ newest and fastest growing churches, where individuals are welcomed to belong and worship God in the grace of Jesus Christ. Pastor Keaton has been married since 2004 to Mrs. Kimberly Keaton, and they are the proud parents of twins, Joelle and Joseph.

“All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the end of time.”
Matthew 28:18-20
